System Installation

Keys to a Quality System:
· Properly Sized Mains
· Consistent Spacing
· Consistent Depth
· Consistent Grade

Through the use of a GPS topographic survey, Midwest Ag Drainage will design drainage mains and pattern systems that best fit the individual needs of each farm.  During this planning phase, various options can be examined to determine the most cost effective drainage solution.

Once a main layout and pattern system have been established, Midwest Ag Drainage can go to work installing a precise drainage system.  Main and lateral tiles are installed with 1/4 inch accuracy through the use of a RTK GPS machine control system.

This accuracy creates a quality drainage system which is consistently spaced, with a consistent depth, and a consistent grade.  This consistency allows for an even subsurface water table, creating ideal growing conditions.
Outlet control structures can be added to the system for applications where the farmer would like to raise or lower the water table during different growing periods.
Upon completion of the installation Midwest Ag Drainage will provide a detailed as-built drawing of the tile locations for future reference.
A properly installed pattern tile system will provide increased crop yields for years to come.
